pilihan cita2 dan kerjaya...

malaysian institute of aviation technology..

selepas 4 tahun, aku mencuba lagi...

pilihan pengajian yang ditawarkan pada diri ku adalah aircraft engineering technology in avionics..

selepas melalui ujian IQ bertulis tanpa kalkulator, interview pun bermula...

soalan yang lebih sukar ditanya...everything in english...

me : good morning and assalamua'laikum..

panel 1 : take ur seat 1st

after seat, i give my resume and certificate file to them...

panel 1 : tell your name and introduce yourself?

after introduce myself...

panel 1 : what are you doing now?

me : now im training under spirit aerosystems in aprentice programs for composite and wing structure airbus A320 and A321 model.

panel 1 : are you contract or born with spirit?

me : no, im only trainee with them.

panel 1 : why u choose miat?

am : bcoz i like aerospace engineering and aviation industry..

panel 1 : what u know about avionics?

me : avionics come from words aviation and electronics. relationship between an electronics systems in aviation like aircraft, helicopter, rocket and fighter jet from their cockpit at front until the ends parts in the tails. its very familiar in auto pilot systems nowdays. also in navigation systems by using glass screen cockpit in modern aviation. radio systems and others.

panel 2 : how to start an aircraft engine ?

am : from my study at previous class of aircraft systems, to start the aircraft engine, usually, the engine start by using the source from auxiliary power unit APU. auxiliary power unit (APU) is a device on a vehicle that provides energy for functions other than propulsion. They are commonly found on large aircraft, as well as some large land vehicles.Turbine engine must be accelerated to a high rotational speed in order to provide sufficient air compression for self-sustaining operation

panel 1 : in electric systems, aircraft use DC or AC systems..

me : from my knowledge, aircraft systems use DIRECT CURRENT.

panel 2 : can you explain about NDT and quality control?

me : non destructive inspection test is to checks and testing the material. radiographic, ultrasonics, eddy current systems, liquid penetrant test, and magnetic test are example of NDT that check or test by professional QC.

then....bla2 bla222....panjang btol interview nye..

last question, if miat offer this program to you, you come in here or not??

selepas 2 minggu, aku check kat admission.unikl.edu.my..tahniah, anda berjaya ditawarkan pengajian ke miat...2-3 hari selepas tu, fon vibrate msg masuk, mase tu tengah pasang wet plate kat moveable fairing..tgok msg dr miat..

kos pengajian bernilai rm 60k...
memang mahal...so..i decide, if i get scholarship from mara, i enter miat, if late get the scholarship...i forget my dream to study at miat...

huhu....

Also we are the first Maintenance Training Organisation (MTO) approved by the Department of Civil Aviation Malaysia (DCA) to offer aircraft maintenance technology programmes .

Initially established as part of MARA Vocational Training with Northrop-Rice U.S.A as the technology provider; it was previously located in Malacca known as MARA-Northrop Rice Institute (MNRI) and was located in Malacca. With the expansion of the programmes and increased student enrollment, MNRI became known as Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology Sdn. Bhd. (MIAT). MIAT took another step further in its bid to be part of Universiti Kuala Lumpur, and hereon known as Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Aviation Technology (UniKL MIAT).

The first of its kind in Malaysia, UniKL MIAT is responsible in imparting ab-initio training to students in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering where the university is qualified to offer European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License training program in collaboration with the German strategic alliance company. UniKL MIAT had been selected to be the recipient of the prestigious Asia Pacific Aerospace & Defense Awards in Aviation Training: Aviation Workforce Development Organization Category for the year 2008 by Frost and Sullivan. UniKL MIAT aims to become the premier Center of Excellence for aviation training institution specializing in Aircraft Maintenance Technology in order to meet the current and future global demand.
